Pastor Ted and Sis. Calinda McMickle

Cedar Grove Church is blessed to have Pastor and First Lady Calinda McMickle as spiritual leaders of the church.

Pastor Ted accepted the call to lead Cedar Grove Church in March 2003. Pastor Ted and First Lady Calinda have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to develop strong warriors for Christ. They often comment that they care more about bringing souls to Christ than increasing membership.

Pastor Ted has an encouraging spirit and a creative ability to convey God's word. His occupation as builder parallels Jesus. He has the ability to create a masterpiece out of a catastrophe. He forever seeks to see the good and potential in people when they allow Jesus Christ to be the head of their lives. Like Christ, Pastor Ted dedicates himself to transforming the broken and rejected into empowered and restored new creatures through the teaching of God’s word.

First Lady Calinda dedicates her time teaching the youth biblical principles of Jesus Christ. Her passion for women is shown through focused teaching on being women of value. First Lady Calinda is supportive of her husband and the church body. Her profound wisdom, strength, support and compassion for others emulate a true example of a virtuous woman.

Cedar Grove Church has grown immensely, not only in numbers but also spiritually. We are honored to have them serve with us as we pursue God’s truth together.
